Patrick Griffin arrived in the United States in 1984, from Athlone, County Roscommon, Ireland. In 1992, he opened the doors of Patrick's Pub right here in Providence, RI.

More than three decades later, it's grown into exactly what Patrick always hoped it would be: a true gathering place. On any given night you'll find neighbors swapping stories over a pint, lawmakers down from the State House, and folks in town for the college games - all sharing the same easy welcome that's been here since day one.

Every Thursday, traditional Irish music takes over, where 20+ local musicians gather and play a few tunes together. Our kitchen serves up hearty, traditional pub fare that keeps regulars coming back, and when you're feeling competitive there are four dart boards, a pool table, and five TVs for catching every match.
